The Truth You Need to Know...

1. The Problem of Sin

The Bible tells us that we all have sinned and fall short of God's standard. We sin when we know what God says is right and we choose to do wrong. God's standard is holiness and man is anything but that. We are all guilty before God.

2. The Penalty for Sin

Because of our sin, the Bible tells us that there is a penalty that must be paid. That penalty is death and eternal separation from God.

3. The Promise of a Savior!

Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sin. His blood purchased our freedom from sin and the penalty that goes with it. Yes, Jesus loves YOU that much! However, we must accept this free gift that God has offered, turn away from sin and commit our lives to Him.

God may seem far away to you. You might find it hard to believe that God could never love you. Maybe you think God can never forgive you...or that you have gone way too far. Jesus died for you because He loves you. The Bible tells us that we can be forgiven of our sins and have eternal life if we admit we are a sinner, believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins,  and confess Him as Lord of our life. Jeremiah 29:13 says that we will find God if we seek Him with all of our heart. There is no sin too big that God can't forgive. If you have never given your life to Jesus Christ, I invite you to do that. It is the greatest decision you will ever make!
